Uplifting Liberia-China Friendship, Thirty Liberia Media Professionals Return From Changsha.

Monrovia, Liberia – The two-week-long Seminar on Media Communication Capacity for Liberia Media Professional has concluded in Changsha, the Chinese capital of Hunan Province.

Most significantly, the 18 national media outlets from Liberia have reached strategic partnerships with Changsha, concentrating on bilateral news reporting and communication, in addition to the professional training and the thrilling experience of China’s most visited tourist city and the UNESCO City of Media Arts.

The Liberian participants gained comprehensive knowledge on China’s domestic situation, global communication, artificial intelligence (AI), media team management, new media operations, headline news production, media convergence, and other topics throughout the course of the two weeks.

Along with visiting Hunan Daily News Agent, Changsha Evening News Agent, and Changsha Online, they also took a tour of Orange Isle and Jinggang Ancient Town, which collectively gave them a concrete image of the city and the growth of local media.

They experienced firsthand innovative vibrancy and distinct charm of the new media business in the UNESCO City of Media Arts through discussions and on-site visits.

Notably, during the closing ceremony on April 14th, the 18 most powerful national media outlets in Liberia, including the Liberia Broadcasting System, The NEWS Newspaper, FrontPage Africa, Daily Observer Newspaper, Women Voices Newspaper, EYE TV, Reports 231, and others, signed strategic cooperation agreements with Changsha Online, the local official news website.

The strategic collaboration agreement states that Changsha Online will collaborate with these Liberian media outlets to report and promote news in China. Through resource sharing, both parties will assist one another and accomplish a win-win outcome. The primary goal of the collaboration will be to strategically support important news planning and reporting tasks.

Additionally, in an effort to collectively promote the positive tales of friendship and collaboration between China and Africa, Changsha Online and these Liberian media sites will launch pertinent articles on their platforms for free.

At the signing ceremony, Jiang Guo, the Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Hunan Changsha Online New Media Co., Ltd., stated: “We anticipate creating a new worldwide door-to-door communication method based on shared resources and benefits.”

In addition to improving both parties’ capacity for international communication, this collaboration will foster friendship and understanding between people and open doors for other societies and cultures.

By overcoming geographical barriers, the agreement will promote the sustainable growth of Chinese-African cooperation in various fields and share the tale of amicable collaboration.
