Liberia Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Keteh has praised the Weah administration for organizing the 2022 cabinet retreat, terming it as an eye opener for him. According to him, he was glad to hear from President Weah about his aim and intentions for Liberia, especially working with all team players within his administration to change the dynamic of Liberia and its people.
The Chief Medical Officer who was part of this year’s Cabinet retreat held in Nimba County noted that some of the issues discussed at the retreat prove that the leadership of the Weah-led government and its team members are all in the interest of the Liberian people.
According to him, the Liberian leader at the meeting always spoke about the nation before self-interest for a better Liberia with respect to peace and human rights. Speaking on the health sector, Dr. Keteh said they are doing everything possible to make sure that the sector remains vibrant and active in order to save lives.
He assured the general public that good services to save lives will always be the hallmark of the ministry, especially with support from the government and its partners. Dr. Keteh commended the health workers around the country and salute them for their contribution to the nation. He said thou there are challenges, the health workers remain faithful to their work in saving lives.
The Chief Medical Officer encourages the health workers to remain committed to their duty and always engage peacefully with the leadership of the health sector.
