Weah Thank You Rally Impedes free Movement

Monrovia, Liberia – Several supporters, including officials of Weah’s government, trooped their way to the CDC National Headquarters on Monday, July 17, 2023, to grace a thanksgiving ceremony in honor of President Weah. The officials’ and supporters’ presence restricted the ability of citizens and vehicles to move freely throughout Montserrado and its surroundings.

The ceremony also closed businesses and government offices linking to the direction of the jubilation center. According to reports, some government ministries and agencies experienced non-operational operations as a result of the WEAH THANK YOU RALLY celebration, particularly on the first working day of the week.
