14 Vice Chairs Elected at NPC 14th Congress

BEIJING, Xinhua –  The Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), the national legislature of China, chose a total of 14 individuals as vice chairs on Friday, March 10, 2023, during the ongoing session of the NPC.

According to News Xinhuanet.com, those elected are Losang Jamcan, Shohrat Zakir, Li Hongzhong, Wang Dongming, Xiao Jie, Zheng Jianbang, Ding Zhongli, Hao Mingjin, Cai Dafeng, He Wei, Wu Weihua, Tie Ning, Peng Qinghua, and Zhang Qingwei.

Liu Qi was chosen as the NPC Standing Committee’s secretary general.

On March 10, 2023, in Beijing, China’s capital, the newly elected vice chairpersons and secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) publicly swore loyalty to the Constitution.
