Tebeh Football Academy has been crowned champions of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) grassroots under-12 league for boys and girls. They defeated CESA FC 2-1 in the grand finale at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Ralph Weah and Samuel Jallah’s goals in both halves were enough to ensure the Thinkers village boys walk away with a giant side trophy plus gold medals. Following the end of the match, Tebeh Football Academy Chief Executive Officer, Trokon Roberts described May as a month to remember.
According to Mr. Robert, Sinkor Beach Soccer Club which is owned by him won the first-ever Orange beach soccer league in early May; seeing Tebeh Football Academy winning the under 12 LFA grassroots football tournament in the same May is something special about the month that he wants to remember.
