Liberia Football Association 1st division Champions, Watanga FC have been paired with Nigerian’s Rivers United FC in the preliminary qualifiers of the 2022/2023 CAF Champions League.
Rivers United will be at home in the first leg, while Watanga FC will take on their West African counterparts in the return fixture in Monrovia.
The draw of the competition took place Tuesday in Cario, Egypt. The aggregate winner of this encounter will take on Wydad Casablanca in the next round.
Meanwhile, Petro Trade Cup Champions, LISCR FC have been drawn against Sporting Gagnoa of Ivory Coast in the first round of the 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup.
LISCR FC will be at home in the first leg before traveling to Ivory Coast for the return leg. The winner will play JS Saoura of Algeria in the next round.
