Liberia Amputees National Football team has announced that they will officially present the 2nd place trophy to the Government of Liberia through the Liberian Senate.
The Amputees Lone Star team finished 2nd in Tanzania Amputees African Nations Cup in 2021.
They also finished 3rd in Angola 2019 edition of the competition.
According to Cooper George the President of Liberia Amputees Football and Sports Association, the official presentation will be done on Tuesday, February 23, 2022, at the Liberian Senate main Chamber on Capital Hills.
Mr. George said Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has also requested to meet with the team on February 22, 2022, at her Capital Building office on capital Hill.
Meanwhile, Liberia Amputees National team has won three Amputees Nations Cup, two runners up and a 3rd place finished in six editions.
