Bong Count Student Union election illegal, says LINSU President

Liberia National Student Union President Mohammed Kamara has termed the recent election of the Bong County Student Union, as illegitimate. Speaking in a Telephone interview with Radio Gbarnga on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from Accra, Ghana, Kamara said the elections were not guided by LINSU’s constitution.

The LINSU President called on the students’ community in Bong not to recognize any results from the elections and urged the contestants to collect their money from Philip Mogo, who is the current leader of the student union in Bong County.

The Bong County Student Union under the leadership of Mogo on Monday, December 20, 2021 conducted what many have termed as a controversial election which led Joseph Akoi, Meshach Johnson, James Flomo, and Jutomue Dumoe to various leadership positions in the union.
