Buchana City, Grand Bassa County – A fire breakout at the Buchana port has destroyed multiple boats and other important materials, according to a Grand Bassa County report. The fire broke out at 5:00 p.m. local time, and it is yet unknown what started the fire.
The Liberia National Fire Service was not present at the port of Buchana as of 8:00 PM local time, according to a live video feed from the Buchana City social media portal Ablee Jay TV.
Using their fire apparatus, the Bea Mountain Company was helping to put out the fire at the port, according to Ablee Jay TV Facebook live commentator.
