Monrovia, Liberia- President George Manneh Weah has sent a condolence message to Patrice Guillaume Athanase Talon, President of the Republic of Benin following the death of at least Thirty-five (35) persons and the injury of more than a dozen people; due to a fuel Depot explosion that occurred in the town of Seme-Podji, South of Benin’s capital on Saturday, September 23,

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah, On behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in his own name, extended heartfelt condolences to Patrice Guillaume Athanase Talon, President of the Republic of Benin the Government and People of the Republic of Benin and in particular, the bereaved Family for the irreparable loss sustained.

The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the Almighty God will grant His Excellency Mr. Patrice Guillaume Athanase Talon, President of the Republic of Benin and the resilient people of Benin faith during this difficult period of national distress and mourning and wish the injured people a speedy recovery.
