Chief Imam Ali Krayee; Deliberate and Hypocritical Desecration of Weah’s campaign banners at Benson Street Mosque

Monrovia, Liberia –

Ali Krayee, Liberia’s Chief Imam, has described the Benson Street Mosque’s adornment with campaign banners bearing images of President George Weah as a premeditated and hypocritical defilement of the building.

On the walls of the Benson Street Mosque were banners with images of President George Weah and Vice President Jewel Taylor last week Friday, August 4, 2023.

Iman Krayee, however, asserted on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, that even though President George Weah might not have been aware of the campaign flyers, the action was intentional.

The desecration of one of the biggest mosques in Monrovia was seriously criticizes Liberians for such act.
