Monrovia, Liberia-The leadership of the National Disenchanted CDCIANS Movement of the Coalition for Democratic Change has threatened to boycott the Weah 2023 renomination program in November and December 2022 and has urged all regime victims to do the same until pr President George Weah can adequately address the needs of the electorate. Vester Kanneh, the group’s chairman, claims that CDCIANS are angry and upset by the extent of the government’s dishonesty, treachery, and hypocrisy. He pointed out that many participants gave up their lives, money, houses, and prestigious jobs in order to assure the party’s success; the CDCIANS’ desire to usher in the CDC administration was based on the idea of “CHANGE FOR HOPE.”

To advance the interests of the blue revolution, CDCIANS from all walks of life rallied their resources, made T-shirts, dropped out of school, and used their money to support events that severed familial ties and party programs. These individuals are no longer acknowledged or discussed when it comes to managing state matters. He admitted that the CDC-led administration had abandoned them and betrayed them, which he termed as a regrettable scenario.

“We were promised a better Liberia once the new administration took office; we were informed that things would improve; and we were promised a united, prosperous nation where our opinions would be heard. a nation where public funds may be allocated to benefit both the wealthy and the underprivileged. Implementing the battle against corruption and prosecuting corrupt officials will prevent Liberians from just watching the happenings of their nation. But today, on the contrary, politicians are appointing family members through nepotism and governing the nation on the basis of friendship. He argued that doing one at key locations was the same thing we had previously spoken against.”

“We feel compelled to express our dissatisfaction with the administration we worked so hard to install; it is heartbreaking to see ourselves as the victims of our own revolution. The majority of us cannot afford to take care of our families. He stated that coming forward, the Leadership and Members of the Disillusioned CDCIANS Movement, which currently has over 75,000 active members, will dissociate themselves from all ongoing activities. Asserting that the country is larger than any political party and that the Movement will expose the inadequacies of the administration and speak truth to power, the Chairman said that they are ready for the challenges.”

In Monrovia on October 26, 2022, he delivered a statement.
