The Management of Farmington Hotel near the Roberts International Airport says it is committed to continuing giving back to communities and institutions within its immediate surrounding areas, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities enshrined in the Agreement with the Liberian government.
The Human Resource Manager of Farmington Hotel, Samuel Jimark said most of the institutions and communities got seriously affected as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic in the Country.
Mr. Jimark spoke at the weekend when he presented ten cartoons of high-power ceiling fans to the Unification Town Health Center and the Kawah’s Memorial Health Center in Margibi County,
He put the cost of the ten boxes of ceiling fans to over four thousand United States dollars.
According to him, Farmington Hotel management is excited to intervene as patients at the health facilities often find it difficult to relieve themselves from the unbearable heat.
The Farmington Hotel Human Resource Manager said the presentation of the high-powered ceiling fans is the Hotel’s initial intervention following the devastating coronavirus while disclosing plans for more donations in subsequent time.
Meanwhile, the Officers-in-Charge of the two clinics in Unification Town, Woiyea Dorbor and Esther Bokai in separate remarks praised the Hotel for the donations and called on others to emulate the giant step taken by Farmington Hotel.
