AFTER THE DEATH OF 36 COWS IN THE DISTRICT
Foya, Lofa County – Locals in Foya, Lofa County are in a state of fear after 36 dead cows were found in that part of Liberia, while the cause of death is yet unknown. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, according to county reports.
The Laypaloe Dopa hamlet’s residents in Lofa County’s Foya region are reportedly now living in fear as a result of the situation. Some locals have suggested that the tragedy was caused by a lightning strike, even though the cause of death is yet to be establish.
The fact that 36 livestock perished on the same day, in the opinion of the locals, is the most terrifying circumstance. They are requesting an investigation into the local animal deaths from the relevant government agencies.
Following the cry of the residents in that part of Liberia, the government is the to respond to such aggrieved situation in Lofa.
