Thanked Labour Minister Kruah for Playing Key Role

Monrovia, Liberia – Returned Liberian women who were trafficked to Oman benefit from skill development in a number of fields. The women thanked the Minister of Labor, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah, Sr., for his Ministry’s assistance in equipping them with employable skills on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, by presenting their certificates of accomplishment.

The women praised the UP government led by President Boakai for the life opportunity. They also praised Labour Minister, Cllr Kruah and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the education.

With assistance from the Monrovia office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the TIP Section of the Ministry of Labor coordinated the training.

The minister told the women that he was happy for their achievements. He urged them to take advantage of the opportunity to make up for lost times. According to Cllr. Kruah, who advocated for women, President Boakai believes that women’s involvement in nation-building is crucial.

“The ARREST AGEND sees women as key players of the UP government and rebranding the nation,” the Labour Minister stated, urging the women. He asserted that the different skills acquired can be applied to improve the lives of the women, their families, and their communities.
