Grace Fahnbulleh Qualify for Semi Finals at All African Games

Accra, Ghana – Grace Fahnbulleh, the only female competitor for Liberia at the 2023 All African Games in Ghana in the boxing division, defeated Aly Habiba of Egypt to move on to the semi-finals. On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Boku Boxing Arena in Accra, the female boxer with a Canadian-Liberian base defeated Aly 4-3.

Her Liberian male counterparts, Freddy Kiwit and Jeroson Barkin, both from Germany and the US, lost on Saturday, along with a lone local boxer, Timothy Williams.

However, because she had support during the game, her performance made many Liberians, especially those who reside in Ghana, grin. Although the time is still undetermined, Grace’s next match is scheduled for March 20, 2024, in the semifinals.
