Japan to Donate 3,294 Metric tons of Rice, Says Foreign Minister

Monrovia, Liberia – As part of its commitment to support humanitarian efforts, the Japanese government is anticipated to donate 3,294 metric tons of food supplies to Liberia, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Sara Beysolow Nyanti.

Speaking during the MICAT Special press briefing on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Minister Nyanti stated that this endeavor is anticipated to happen on June 18 of that same year.

According to her, Japan continued commitment to humanitarian assistance and international cooperation to fortify ties and promote goodwill among the participating nations is symbolized by this contribution, which aims to boost food security and nutrition initiatives to those in need.
