Judge Bonah-Elliot stresses importance of conducting investigation survey in cases involving real property

Monrovia, Liberia – Golda Bonah-Elliot, the recently appointed Judge of Civil Law Court ‘A, has stressed the importance of conducting investigative surveys in cases involving real property. Judge Bonah-Elliot delivered her charge during the court’s December term opening on Monday, December 18, 2023.

She stated that unless the parties agree to arbitration and desire it, the court will conduct an investigative survey in coordination with the Liberia Land Authority within a certain time period.

According to Judge Bonah-Elliot, in order to ensure a swift trial of cases, the first assignment in a case must be a part of the pre-trial conference or the resolution of legal concerns. She urged them to consider the values of justice, equality, and the quest for truth as the court’s December term gets underway.
