Juli Endee Era Ends

As Pres. Boakai Appoints New Culture Ambassador

Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph N. Boakai has named Kekura M. Kamara, commonly known as Malawala Balawala as Liberia’s new Art and Culture Ambassador, replacing Juli Endee, who served in that role for nearly thirty years.

During the Liberian Civil War in 1994, Amb. Endee was appointed Liberia’s Cultural Ambassador and served in that capacity for almost thirty years.

In terms of serving as the nation’s longest-standing cultural ambassador, Ambassador Endee’s tenure spans from 1994 to 2024.

Additionally, the Liberian leader named Samuel M. Nyema the Deputy Director General for Research and Consultancy at the Liberia Institute for Public Administration (LIPA).

President Boakai has urged the appointees to keep up their devotion, hard work, honesty, professionalism, and allegiance to their country.
