Justice Minister Urges Gov’t Officials To Provide For Less Privileges

Monrovia, Liberia – Cllr. Oswald Tweh, Liberia’s Justice Minister and Attorney General, is urging government representatives to get to know the people who live in their areas, particularly during the holiday season. Minister Tweh claimed that since President Joseph Boakai is unable to contact everyone, government representatives must help the Liberian leader to put smiles of the common people faces and make them happy.

According to the Attorney General, when appointed officials who directly represent the President start interacting with and getting to know the people in their areas, they will start to experience the effects of the government.

In honor of the Festive celebration and his birth anniversary, Minister Tweh gave 100 bags of 25 kg rice to the people of the Borough of New Kru Town on Bushrod Island. His Special Assistant, Atty. Siafa Bah-Kemokai, delivered the statement on his behalf.

As he leads the nation’s justice system, Minister Tweh used the opportunity to ask the beneficiaries most of whom are elderly women and men as well as those with disabilities to pray for him.

Nelson Segbeh, the Deputy Governor for Administration, accepted the contribution on behalf of the Borough’s residents and praised Justice Minister Cllr. Oswald Tweh for showing compassion for the less poor during his birthday celebration.

As he heads the nation’s security sector, the Governor prayed that God Almighty would continue to bless the Minister with goodness, knowledge, and understanding.
