LNP Investigates Three Persons in Christian Somah Death

Monrovia – The Liberia National Police is investigating three suspects for their alleged involvement in the death of a 21-year-old man identified as Christian Somah on January 19, 2023. The three suspects are Yakuba Sheriff aged 42, Layee Kamara age 16, and Somalia Keita 15-year-old all from the Day-break-Mouth-open community of Barnesville.  

According to Moses Carter, the suspects were arrested from a garage owned and operated by the alleged suspects of Barnesville Estate Road.

LNP Spokesman revealed that a preliminary investigation established that the deceased was allegedly mobbed by an angry crowd which resulted in his demise when Yakuba Sheriff’s garage security guards raised an alarm thereby referring to the deceased as a thief.

Carter furthered that, the remains of the deceased have been deposited at the JFK Memorial Hospital Morgue for preservation, while the three suspects have been charged and forwarded to Court with Murder and Criminal conspiracy pending court trial.
