The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation with support from the World Bank has launched its one hundred Days revenue collection action plan. It is established that the LWSC 100 day revenue collection Action plan is intended to empower the Corporation for the purpose of increased revenue generation.
The World Bank-sponsored LWSC 100 day Action plan will see the corporation carry out robust activities with respect to billing and collecting revenue and increase the Corporation’s daily pumping hours.
Speaking at the launch of the exercise on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, LWSC Managing Director Duanah Kamara said, his team has crafted vigorous efforts towards raising more revenue for the institution.
For his part, World Bank Water supply and sanitation specialist Geraldus Soppe said the World Bank will remain supportive of the current undertaken of the LWSC as it rolls up rigorous revenue collections.
