Minister of Health meets with Israeli Ambassador accredited to Liberia

Discuss Strengthening Health Partnerships.

Monrovia, Liberia – The Minister of Health had a courtesy call from Israeli Ambassador H.E. Shlomit Sufa on Tuesday, May 8, 2024. The meeting’s main goal is to promote the friendly relationship between the two countries.

The courtesy visit of the Israeli Ambassador to the Minister of Health signifies a significant step towards strengthening partnerships between Israel and Liberia in the healthcare sector.

The significance of healthcare cooperation and shared interests in the field between Israel and Liberia were also emphasized during the discussion.

In response to the visit, Dr. Louise M. Kpoto, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Liberia, thanked H.E. Shlomit Sufa on behalf of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and the Ministry of Health for their ongoing commitment to support Liberia’s health system.

In order to improve public health outcomes through the advancement of healthcare services, Minister Kpoto emphasized the necessity for ongoing collaboration and solid partnerships.
