NDMA Alarms Unprecedented Flood in Omega Community in 2025.

Monrovia, Liberia – Residents of Omega community in Payneaville risk to be affected by unprecedented flood and violence Storms beginning next rainy season, the Disaster Management Agency revail.

Speaking at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism regular press briefing in Monrovia, the Executive Director of the National Disaster Management Agency Hon. Ansu Dolleh; disclosed that residences of the Omega community will experience severe downpour of rain and violence Storms beginning next year rainy season.

Hon. Dolleh stated that the NDMA Technical Department’s survey revealed that residents of the community carry out building in water waves, obstructing the free flow of water in the region.

He stressed that if the required precautionary measures are not taken, several localities may be hit by the heavy downpour of rain, causing infrastructure to be destroyed and potentially forcing residents to relocate.

The NDMA boss also disclosed that there are coordination approach, to ensure that the needs of affected communities are addressed urgently and comprehensively.
