The National Revenue Governance and Domestic Resource Mobilization have begun building the capacities of local institutions and Citizens in Grand Gedeh County which will enable increased revenue collection.

Domestic Resource Mobilization (DRM) is involved in developing and increasing public and private savings to finance social expenditure in education and health and investment in critical infrastructure to achieve inclusive growth and poverty reduction.

The initiative is under the African Peer Review Mechanism process that focuses on four thematic areas to assess state compliance with a wide range of African and international human rights treaties and standards.

This APRM includes but is not limited to Democracy and Political Governance, Economic Governance and Management, Corporate Governance, Social economics, and Development.

Recently, the APRM held its regional cluster dialogue in Zwedru and Toe Town in Grand Gedeh County which brought together LRA personnel, Physical Challenge youth, women, securities, and local authorities together.
