Tony FC meets LISCR FC in the Petro Trade Cup final while Ambassador FC takes on Determine Girls in the female category
Second division side, Tony FC and 1st division LISCR FC will battle each other in the grand final of the Petro Trade Cup.
Tony FC defeated her 2nd division counter parts, Muscat 1-0 on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at SKD practice pitch in Paynesville to progress to the grand final with 2-1 aggregate winner.
The first leg ended 1-1 at the same venue on the 18th of March.
Abraham Kamara was the match winner for Tony FC with his first half strike.
Goals from Marlon Harrison, Mark Karlay and Sam Jackson gave LISCR FC overwhelming victory over 2nd Nimba FC in the other semi final return fixture.
They won 6- 1 on aggregate following a 3-0 victory in first leg at the Technical Center in Caresburg and the 3-1 win in the return fixture on Wednesday at the TUSA field in Garnerville.
In women’s category of the competition, Determine Girls whipped Senior Female Professionals 9-0 on aggregate to Ambassadors FC in the grand final.
Ambassadors FC overcome Soccer Ambassadors in the other semi finals. They won 4-0 on aggregate with 2-1 win each leg.
