Liberia President, George Manneh Weah has informed the public and the world that the United States of America remains Liberia’s senior ally. The Liberian Leader Speaking at a thanksgiving service in his honor at the Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship Church in Paynesville outside Monrovia.
Mr. Weah said a Liberian diplomatic in the person of Lewis Brown voted against the US which left him with no doubt but to dismiss the diplomatic. He noted that the intention of the diplomat was to create tension between the two countries.
President Weah at the same time pledged Liberia’s full support to the United States of America. “A friend of our partner is our friend”. The Liberian Leader added that Liberia will never go against the US. He continued that the Liberian government under his Leadership will continue to work with the United States of America government.
Mr. Weah said the intention of the diplomatic to go against the US was a sign of Liberia going against the US, which may bring tension and bad feelings between the two countries. He again announced that no Liberian official and diplomat under his leadership will go against the United States of America.
