Pres. Weah Appoints Additional Gov’t Officials

Monrovia, Release-The National Port Authority, the Financial Intelligence Unit, and the Notary Public have all been affected by appointments made by President George Manneh Weah. Madam Diana Nebo, Managing Director of National Port Authority, and two assistants Mr. Alphonso Kuiah, Deputy Managing Director for Administration, and Mr. Sam Doe, Deputy Managing Director for Operations, have been appointed as of today, Monday, October 17, 2022.

President Weah also nominated Mr. Stanley Ford for the Director General of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) position and Mr. Stephen M.G. Quoi for the position of Notary Public for the county of Nimba. The Liberian Leader asked the appointees in their respective letters of appointment to show effort, honesty, and devotion to duty.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate where appropriate, according to a statement from the Executive Mansion.
