Monrovia, Liberia – On behalf of the government and people of Liberia, as well as in his own name, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has sent the government and people of Argentina his warmest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of their 208th anniversary of independence, which falls on July 9, 2024.
According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, President Boakai expressed confidence that the cordial ties that currently exist between the two nations and peoples will endure as long as the two leaders collaborate to achieve international peace, security, economic growth, and social progress.
In expectation of expanding relationship in all areas that foster development in the two nations, he then gave his Argentinean counterpart, President Javier Milei, assurances of Liberia’s steadfast resolve to further rekindle friendship and cooperation with the sisterly Republic of Argentina.
President Boakai prayed that President Javier Milei would continue to lead his people to greater prosperity and that the Almighty God would grant him wisdom, health, and happiness.
