A WAKE UP CALL FOR UP GOVERNMENT AND NATIONAL SECURITY

Monrovia, Liberia – Several Liberian social media outlets have stated that Monrovia would see rise in arm robbery and home burning. Opposition political groups are accused of orchestrating the move in an effort to destabilize the nation.

According to a Liberian Blogger, James Goodday Flomo, he received a message from an insider of one of Liberia’s political parties noting that an agreement from the CDC planning room to arm criminals to carry out a huge arm robbery within the city and its surroundings, this arm robbery group is headed by Kollie Borbor of Johnson Street. There’s another group that is responsible to set fire on homes around the country, don’t be surprised to hear fire burning villages and homes.

The insider alleged that, “the aim of these plans is to make the country look like there’s no leader so the citizens can raise up against the government. As for the capitol building fire attack, NOTHING will come from it, Hon. Yekeh assure that he already worked on it from Ghana and Togo to close everyone mouth and the security will even feel weak to go after people.”

“As for the bomb threatening posts on Facebook is a plan to put fear in people and make Liberia look unsafe for investors to come to, the main attack is the fire and arm robbery which they will use to even kill people so they can post on Facebook that Liberia is not safe. Mark and keep this text for the future so you can trust my information.” Intelligence Report from an Inside Source.”

The bomb threat was shared by one Alpha Gray who is said to be a major youth leader of former President Weah’s CDC party. Police IG, Coleman addressing the media on Thursday January 2, 2025 said Mr. Gray and others who posted said information will be invited for questioning.

This is a wake up call to the national security and the Boakai administration. With these information circulating the social media, citizens have started pancaking amid increase security concern due to the country’s fragility.

With just three days in the new year, about 6 homes have gutted fire in Monrovia and other parts of the country, is this the situation discussed on social media?
