President Boakai Arrives In Canada

Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Boakai arrived in Toronto, Canada, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, to deliver the keynote address at the Liberia Investment Forum 2024. The event is organized in partnership between the National Investment Commission (NIC) and the QE24 Group of Companies (Liberia), through Liberia’s Trade and Investment Office in Canada.

The President was warmly welcomed at Toronto Pearson International Airport by an enthusiastic gathering of Liberians residing in Canada.

According to Liberia Trade and Investment Representative, Jallahqueena Hawa Konneh, and QE24
Group CEO, Bill Sandy, President Boakai is set to present Liberia investment opportunities to the Canadian business community on Thursday, September 19, at the International Conference Center in downtown Toronto.

A delegation of senior Liberian government officials, led by NIC Chairman Jeff Blibo, will also participate, with presentations covering various sectors of the economy. The forum will feature an interactive session aimed at engaging potential investors.
