    President Boakai Extols Paul Kagame on Re-Election

    RELEASE

    Monrovia, Liberia – Amb. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, has congratulated the government and people of the Republic of Rwanda on President Paul Kagame’s reelection.

    President Joseph Nyuma Baokai, Sr. sent a message to His Excellency Mr. Paul Kagame, the new president of the Republic of Rwanda. In his own name and on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, he offered the president-elect his sincere congratulations on being re-elected.

    In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, President Boakai emphasized that the Rwandan people’s faith in President Kagame is demonstrated by their reelection to a fourth term.

    “As you take on this immense and honorable duty of guiding your magnificent nation once more, I sincerely hope that the friendly bonds of friendship and collaboration that already exist between our two nations and peoples will be further reinforced in the spirit of African unity as we collaborate to advance the values of the African Union and the United Nations for the advancement of regional and global peace and security,” stated President Boakai.

    President Boakai then expressed his wishes for President-elect Kagame’s continuous health, as well as for real advancement and prosperity for Rwanda’s wonderful people.
