Monrovia, Liberia – Senator Botoe Kanneh of Gbarpolu County has pledged her support for the RESCUE Mission and promised to deliver the county to former vice president Joseph Nyumah Boakai if he wins the general election come October 10, 2023.

Despite being a Senator on an independent ticket, the Gbarpolu lawmaker said, nothing can stop her from endorsing a presidential candidate. She claimed that the former vice president’s and Unity Party standard Brearer experience and honesty in the public sector for more than 40 years are the foundation of her decision to support him.

“Whether Independent or not I will support the Unity Party, it is time for Liberian to unit and joint the team to rescue the country from the hands of the current Leadership. Our county is rich with natural resources, but our people are yet to benefit from these natural resources; as such, I am going to lead the rescue mission in Gbarpolu County.”

‘I am urging each and every one on this train not to underestimate anybody nor discriminate in these elections; our country is at a strategic cross Road. I was once a dry meat seller but today, I am a proud Senator representing the people of Gbarpolu County; in union strong success is sure our action is about Liberia. Your Vote determines your leaders you have the power to make the right decision, decision in the interest of the country and your children. Liberia’s need one man with a cleared vision and this man is Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai.”

Senator Kanneh made the statement yesterday, May 26, 2023, when she attended the Movement for One Liberia political party official endorsement ceremony of Unity Party Presidential candidate former Liberian Joseph Nyumah Boakai.
