Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) Rejected CAF Appeals Board ruling

Monrovia, Liberia – The CAF Appeals Board’s decision has been vehemently rejected by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), which described it as unfair, unprecedented, and unacceptable.

They claim it undermines the reputation of African football and will file an appeal right now with the Lausanne, Switzerland-based Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Despite Senegal’s victory on the pitch, CAF granted Morocco a 3-0 forfeit in the 2025 AFCON final.

Additionally, on March 28, the federation will celebrate its AFCON victory in France versus Peru, celebrating the occasion with Parisian supporters.

They will contest CAF’s ruling and hold onto the trophy until the matter is settled.
