SWAL 36th anniversary Postpone

The Leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) has announced to inform all of its members, partners, and the public that the 36th anniversary of the association which should have taken place this week has been postponed to October 7, 2022.

The association noted that the postponement is due to some technical issues. The SWAL anniversary will be held this year with a special symposium on the theme; “Pushing the Liberian Sports Agenda, with Basketball, Kickball, and football” in perspective.

Several sports stakeholders are being invited to the symposium aimed at outlining challenges facing the sporting disciplines.

The association Leadership hopes that members of the association and sports administrators, as well as athletes and fans, will grace the occasion. SWAL’s 36th anniversary will see the relaunch of the famous Herbert Grigsby Lecture Forum as well as a soccer game against the LFA Ballers.

The venue for the symposium and game will be communicated shortly according to the association president Kolubah Zayzay.
