The Comptroller and Accounting General of the Republic of Liberia Atty. Janga A. Kowo has frowned at critics for insinuating the CDC Administration of creating suffering for the ordinary Liberian across the country. Mr. Kowo at the same time acknowledged that Liberians are facing challenges but justified that those difficulties were not created by the CDC government.

According to him, Liberians have long begun suffering from the foundation of the country as such, no one should attribute it to the current ruling establishment headed by soccer Legend George Weah. The comptroller general of Liberia cautioned the opposition in and out of the country to stop propagating the wrong message against the government as it has the tendency of undermining the Development process of the country. He claimed that the government is trying to alleviate the suffering massive by improving their living conditions.

Atty. Kowo maintained that the government is carry-out massive Development across the country as such, Liberians should give president George Weah a second chance to complete what he started.

He lamented that the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance has implemented a policy that will mitigate the suffering that Liberians are faced with across the country.

He mentioned that the government pay-roll is around seventy to sixty thousand United States Dollars monthly noting that the government is creating physical space through the National budget by making a significant impact in the lives of the Liberian people which is a commitment made by the Liberian President George Weah back in 2018 by ensuring that the needs of every citizen are met.

The Comptroller and Accounting General made the accession Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the official Launched of the decentralization and synchronization of civil servants’ employment and pension data for civil servants’ electronic pay-slip platform in Monrovia.

The Launched took place at the Ministry of Information Cultural Affairs and Tourism; he stressed that there were dual pay-roll systems in government but his Leadership transformed the system through the implementation of a system called the one payroll system aimed at mitigating massive corruption in the public sector by creating the National payroll reform.

He then urged the Liberian media to be responsible in discharging their reportorial duties ahead of the 2023 elections noting that maintaining the peace lies in the hands of every Liberian.
