The Sports Commission on Broad Street in Central Monrovia will become a center of attraction on Friday, November 5, 2021, as the Basketball component of the 2021 edition of University Championship gets under way. The competition which is under the theme: “Who’s the Legend” is organized by Spark Group of Companies.
Friday fixtures will witness, United Methodist University (UMU) against Adventist University Of West Africa in game one, while Smythe Institute will lock horns with Starz University in game two. Blue Crest University and African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) will chase each other in game three.
Game four will witness, African Methodist Episcopal Zion University against Africa International Institute of Science and Technology, while Stella Maris Polytechnic University takes on University of Liberia in the day’s final match of the day.
The Basketball competition will run from November 5-29, 2021, while the football component will take effect on November 26, 2021 to December 3, 2021, at the Barack Young Controllers Sports Center in Monrovia.
