Liberia’s Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor has promised to work with Bong County Short-People Association, The Short-People Association in Bong County is a group situated in that part of Liberia where the vice president hails from.
VP Howard-Taylor had a meeting with the Bong County Short-People Association days after been criticize for ignoring them. The vice president however promised to work and support as earler stated. After they (The Association of Short-People in Bong) strongly supported her Senatorial and Vice-Presidential bids in the County, the organisation recently unleashed an irate tirade against VP Taylor through its Chairman, Paul Kollie.
Speaking to the group at her office, VP Howard- Taylor acknowledged forgetting about them and apologized for not keeping the commitments she had made to them over the years. She took advantage of the opportunity to make amends with the group and make a commitment to help them become empowered through any medium they would like to explore in order to support themselves.
