A 50 man from Africa New Stars Sports Academy comprised of players, technical staff, officials, and medical team have arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone to participate in the maiden edition of the Western Area Football Association international Youth Championship.
The delegation is headed by Africa New Stars Sports Academy Country Director, S. Melvin Toteh Panton. According to the team, the delegation departed Liberia on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, and arrive on the same day.
The tournament is expected to begin this Friday, December 10, to the 18, 202. Eight teams from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea are expected to participate in the tournament using both their under 12 and 15 teams respectively.
Africa New Stars Sports Academy is the only Liberian club participating in the tournament with the hope of making a great mark in the tournament.
