Arson Attack on Jeety Rubber LLC and SRC Plantation.

Monrovia, Liberia – According to reports, the Jeety Rubber LLC/SRC plantation was the scene of a horrific arson assault at around 2:00 AM on Tuesday. The plantation’s fire department has arrested two individuals, Joe Bono and Abraham Kpannah, who are being held by the police.

The suspects admitted to the arson attack during first interrogation, but they haven’t yet given a specific reason for their behavior. The plantation suffered severe damage from the fire, with an estimated loss of more than $35,000. The fire damaged more than 150 rubber trees.

The administration of the SRC plantation has issued a strong warning in reaction to this incidence. They underlined the serious economic consequences of such attacks, stating that if there are ongoing delays, the firm may be forced to close the plantation, which would mean that many locals would lose their jobs.

This incident is still being investigated according to our source as the two individuals are in police custody.
