The political Leader of the Alternative National Congress Alexander Cummings is calling for a United opposition political party to unseat the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change-led government comes 2023.
According to him, only a United opposition political party can transform the country; he at the same time promised to work with other partners in implementing the developmental agenda of the country.
He mentioned that the government of President George Weah has impoverished and failed the Liberian people as such, Citizens are going to bed hungry due to poor Leadership.
The ANC political Leader maintains that Weah Taylor’s Administration is paying less attention to the basic social delivery as the result, parents can not afford to pay their kids tuition across the country due to the high level of corruption by officials of the “CDC” government.
He expressed that under his Leadership as president of the Republic of Liberia, any Official caught in corrupt acts will face the full weight of the law and the culture of impunity will definitely come to an end.
Also speaking at the occasion, the National Chairman for the Collaborating Political Parties Musa Hassan Bility, said Officials of the parties have unanimously agreed to make the Alternative National Congress political leader Alexander Cummings standard Bearer for “CPP” who will lead the party to the 2023 general and Presidential elections.
Chairman Bility also called on other political parties to join the Collaborating Political Parties for a better Liberia.
He spoke Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the presumptive Headquarters of the Liberty Party during the Re-Lanching ceremony of the Collaborating Political Parties in Monrovia.
During the ceremony, Cllr. J. Allocious Toe presented the framework document to major political actors of the “CPP” for signature before members of the fourth estate.
According to Cllr. Toe the framework documents is essential as such, there is a need for Major political actors to sign for the purpose of Transparency and in the interest of the party and Country.
Additional three political parties Join the Liberty Party and the Alternative National Congress, the parties include; the United Peoples Party(UPP), the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) the Liberian people Democratic party (LPDP).
