The 2022/2023 Liberia Football Association Upper Women’s division was won by Determine Girls, who defeated Bassa Girls 17-0 on April 17, 2023, at the SKD practice field. They collected 53 points from 22 league games to take the title.

They won the competition by one point against Ambassadors FC in second place, who also routed Hippo FC 12-0 on the last day. Determine Girls FC’s third straight title comes from the triumph win.

Until the Liberia Football Association took away points from DC Shooters owing to allegations that their president, John Win, forged documents for six Nigerian players, they had been runner-up the entire season.

Determine Girls improved after the LFA took away points from DC Shooters for games in which those players competed and gave them back to each team. The choice was made in accordance with article 3 chapter 4.2e and paragraph 5a of the Liberian football league rules.

According to chapter 4.1 section 9, which states that anyone engaging in football-related activities who fabricates a document or alters an authentic document to deceive in a legal relationship will be banned for the duration of a season, the Liberia Football Association has also suspended DC Shooters President John Winn.

The LFA has committed to alert the government over the issues of an alleged forgery for further prosecution, but the DC Shooters President has been given the opportunity to appeal the decision in accordance with article 5.0.
