Monrovia, Liberia—In the ongoing WHO OWN THE LAND 2026 7th Edition Police Academy-Based Tournament at the Police Academy Field on Wednesday, May 27, Masarco All Star outperformed Magaster All Star in a thrilling match. Masarco All Star responded with energy and attacking vigor in the second half following a competitive first half that finished without a goal. After a red card incident restricted Magaster All-Stars to 10 players, their dominance grew.

Later, Masarco All-Star striker James Tarpeh energized the crowd with a spectacular goal that put his team ahead and in command of the game. Throughout the second half, the team’s excellent performance and togetherness gave the impression that they would win.

But in the final minutes of the encounter, Magaster All Star forward William Koffa struck a late equalizer to force an exciting 1-1 finish. The WHO OWN THE LAND tournament is a month-long community football competition with a cash prize of 50,000 LD for the winner, 20,000 LD for the runner-up, and a trophy for this year’s victor.

“Continue Our Friendship Through Sports” is the tournament’s motto.
