Monrovia, Liberia – Barcelona was given a precautionary measure to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor on Wednesday, and La Liga, one of the organizations displeased with the Higher Sports Council’s decision, made this official 24 hours later.

La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation had previously denied Barcelona’s bids to register Olmo and Victor, but with the CSD’s intervention, the Catalans may now call on both players indefinitely. The two were legally registered 24 hours after the verdict was rendered.

It is great news for Barcelona because they can rely on Olmo and Victor for the time being, and both may play in Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid or Mallorca. The Catalans will have the duo accessible for a maximum of three months, which might be extended until the conclusion of the season if their petition is successful.
