Labour Ministry observes World Day Against Trafficking in Person (WDATIP); As Liberian Girls Trafficked to Oman Cry for Help

The fight against Human Trafficking still remains a challenge to Liberia despite efforts made by the Government to curb the illegal act.
Recently, the U.S Department of State honored a Liberian Judge and recognized the country for the interest shown in fighting trafficking.
Amid these efforts, the risk of trafficking persons in and out of Liberia is still high and many believe more needs to be done.
