LFA Elects New Leadership for 2026–2030

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Football Association has selected new leadership team to guide the organization’s operations for the next four years following its 30th Ordinary Congress, which was held at the LFA Headquarters in Congo Town on Friday, May 15. The current president, Mustapha I. Raji, won a third four-year term as head of the country’s football regulatory body after being re-elected without any opposition.

The delegates also selected 12-person Executive Committee members to promote football growth, governance, infrastructure, and transparency across Liberia’s football sector from 2026 to 2030. Speaking following his re-election, Raji thanked delegates, as well as FIFA and CAF leadership, for their continued support toward football development in Liberia. He also called on committee members and stake holders to unite for the success of football development in the country.

“We have a lot to do and there are many opportunities at the Liberia Football Association for all of us,” Raji said. “The success of our football depends on each and every one of us.”

Along with returning members Pawala Janyan, Tickly Monkoney, Hilary Sackie, Sekou Konneh, Adolphus Dolo, and Anthony Deinuka, women’s football representative Jodie Seaton continued to serve on the Executive Committee. Amos Tweh, Momo Cyrus, Chris Weah, Elvis Sirleaf, and Pokah Robert are among the recently chosen committee members.

Football superstars from all around the region as a whole, FIFA Council member Hamidou Djibrilla, FIFA Team Lead for MA Governance Services Ahmed Harraz, and CAF ambassador Nadim Magdy Maurice Kamel were among the notable attendees of the Congress. Being the first election held at the LFA’s own headquarters in Congo Town, the 30th Ordinary Congress also represented a significant historical milestone.
