Liberia’s Bid for UN Security Council Seat

Liberia has been a founding member of the United Nations since 1945 and has served on the UN Security Council only once, in 1961, when it shared a two-year term with the Republic of Ireland.

I urge all Liberians to come together and support Liberia’s bid for a seat on the UN Security Council for the 2026-2027 term. Let’s set aside our political differences and use every available channel to advocate for Mama Liberia.

I would like to congratulate the President of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., the Senate Pro Tempore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mother Lemu for speaking boldly on this important process.

This is a call to action for every Liberians. Let’s do this for Mama Liberia.

God Bless Liberia
