The Liberia Football Coaches Association has launched a computer literate program for coaches across Liberia.
According to the President of Liberia Football Coaches Association Barrent Karr, the move is intended to strengthen the capacity of coaches to meet the current day reality of the game.
The launch of the computer literate program took place on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the ATS in Monrovia during the program marking the certification of Liberia football coaches association level one coaches in collaboration with Liberia football association.
Serving as the key launcher, LFA Executive Committee hopeful, Edwin Kai encouraged coaches to use the knowledge gained wisely.
The former goalkeeper said, if football will take a positive direction in the country, coaches will have to be on top of their games.
He maintains that the first program will usher twenty (20) coaches as a pilot project.
Meanwhile, ALPHA Oldtimers head coach, Atty Jeror Cole Bangalu was among the graduates.
Coach Bangalu upon receiving his certificate promised to work with the younger coaches to help improve football in their capacity as coaches.
The program was attended by LFA President Mustapha Raji, Liberia under 17 and 20 Coaches, Ansu Keita and Tapha Mannah, former LIFOCA President Francis Tamba, former senior national team Coach Kaetu Smith and hosts of other high profile coaches and football administrators.
