Momo T. Cyrus Declares Bid for LFA Executive Committee Member Position

Monrovia, Liberia – Momo T. Cyrus, a security specialist, businessman, legislator, and football administrator, has formally announced his plan to run for the Liberia Football Association’s (LFA) Executive Committee Member post, promising results, inclusivity, and leadership for the development of Liberian football.

Under the campaign motto “Together, We Build the Future of Liberian Football,” Cyrus emphasized honesty, collaboration, and advancement as the fundamental principles of his vision for the sport. He promised to collaborate closely with clubs, stakeholders, and football fans nationwide in order to advance quality, accountability, and transparency.

Cyrus also highlighted his dedication to women’s football, stating that under his direction, expanding opportunities and fostering the development of the sport at all levels will continue to be of utmost importance. Cyrus cited his track record of supporting clubs, talent development, and competitions as evidence of his commitment to football, having invested in and been involved in the sport for more than nine years.

He went on to characterize himself as an inclusive leader and team player who is committed to fostering harmony and giving all Liberian football players a voice. In his capacity as Wologizi Football Club’s president and CEO, Cyrus claimed to have successfully led the team from the third level to the first division while encouraging quality, discipline, and growth on and off the game.

Cyrus outlined his goals, promising to strengthen LFA subcommittees through system improvements, training, and structural renovations, as well as to broaden collaborations to draw in more sponsors for club finance and operational support. He urged delegates and interested parties to back his candidature, emphasizing that cooperation is required to advance Liberian football as a whole.
