President Weah calls on citizens to reconcile with one another for a better Liberia

Liberia President George Weah has emphasized the need for citizens to reconcile their differences and redouble efforts as means of enabling the rebuilding process of the Country. According to the Liberian Leader, reconciliation and unity are the cornerstone and means through which a country can experience rapid development.

He urged all citizens to embrace national peace and unity in order to ensure the rapid growth and development of the country. The Liberian President said, despite political differences, citizens must take charge in championing reconciliation and national unity gear towards the improvement of Liberia.

He made these remarks at the official opening of Liberia’s Bicentennial Celebration on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Monrovia. This is not the first time Mr. Weah has called for the togetherness of Liberians. The former Peace Ambassador has always informed citizens that peace and reconciliation are the best for Liberia and Liberians both home and abroad. He called on all citizens to put the national interest first before all other things.
